4. Lord Voldemort - Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire (2005) : 15 Minutes

Whilst . we had some glimpses at he-who-must-not-be-named in the first two Harry Potter films and felt the growing presence of the evil wizard in the third title, we don't actually get to see the dark lord in the flesh until the fourth entry into the series: Goblet of Fire.

The overarching feeling of Voldemort was always something the characters in the franchise made points of addressing, however his eventual rebirth in the Little Hangleton Graveyard really adds a new gritty dimension to the series, which had been fairly safe in the films previous.

Ralph Fiennes really does a terrific job in bringing the darkest wizard to life for the first time, swinging from softly spoken lines to maniacal screeching at a drop of a wand. In fact, one of the best parts of the Voldemort rebirth scene is the fact that the dark lord gets so caught up in impressing his followers that he momentarily forgets that Harry, his oldest and greatest enemy, is still right there.

Though it only makes up about fifteen minutes of the film's runtime, the whole return of Voldemort is worth sticking with the entire film for; it is a totally triumphant moment for the forces of darkness and hammers home the desolate, despondant feel for Harry, his friends and the audience.
