5. Nova - Logan Lerman
Nova is a heroic mantle passed between many different characters throughout Marvel Comics history. The Nova Corps (seen in Guardians Of The Galaxy, with Glenn Close and John C. Reilly in their employ) give out special helmets to those worthy of becoming Supernova agents. These helmets bestow superpowers - the power of flight, the ability to breathe in space, translating alien languages. Theyre essentially starter-packs for spacefaring superheroes. Teenage Sam Alexander became a Nova after finding his fathers old helmet. Many had thought his alcoholic dads tales of saving the galaxy were just mad ramblings, but actually they were all true. Sam took up the mantle in his own ongoing series in 2013. The glee Sam experiences upon becoming a superhero, coupled with the emotional baggage of his upbringing, could make this a deep role for Logan Lerman (Percy Jacson, Fury) to get his teeth into after being beaten to the role of Spider-Man by Tom Holland. He certainly looks the part, too, although he might need to act a little younger than he actually is (Lerman is 23).
