10 MORE Great Horror Movies You'll Only Watch Once

3. Terrifier 3

Despite how unrealistically brutal Terrifier and Terrifier 2 were, Damien Leone had no trouble topping the grotesqueries for the third instalment.

Set during Christmas, Terrifier 3 has Art the Clown donning a Santa suit, making it easier to find unsuspecting victims. As expected, the demonic jester is more elaborate than ever with his executions, slaughtering his prey with rats, bombs, liquid nitrogen tanks, and his own decapitated head.

It's not just Art's methods that are sickening here, but who he chooses as his victims. The barbaric mime reaches a new low this time around, since he gleefully maims and mutilates animals and children, solely to satiate his bloodlust.

Though Terrifier 3 received positive reviews, anyone born without a steel stomach will have serious trouble watching it without gagging. Nine people walked out of its premiere within the first ten minutes, and that's not even the most haunting moment - that mantle goes to the vomit-inducing shower sequence.

With each instalment topping its predecessor in terms of gore, some Terrifier 3 fans might skip the in-the-works Terrifier 4, believing they won't be able to tolerate the excessive bloodshed.
