10 More Movies That Accidentally Filmed Things You Weren't Supposed To See
1. A Child Taken Out By The Shopkeeper - Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory
With the recent release of Wonka, and Timothée Chalamet's taking on of the titular mantle, the wonder and whimsy of Roald Dahl's story has never been more relevant. It's arguably as popular now as it was back in 1971 when the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory movie released.
However, there are certain parts of the original that simply cannot be beat, no matter how many times the story is re-imagined, how many times Willy Wonka is recast, or how much better the production values can be five decades later.
One such aspect is The Candy Man. As the kids run out of school they head straight to the sweet shop where they are serenaded by the owner about how wonderful a candy man Willy Wonka is. It's charming. So charming in fact that you could easily watch it without noticing the small child get clocked when the shopkeeper lifts up the counter.
As impressive as the firefighter's professionalism is to just keep going in Christmas with the Kranks, it's even more impressive coming from such a young child who carried on as if she hadn't just been chinned by a big hunk of solid wood.
