10 More Upcoming Movies That Are In Big Trouble

At one point feeling like a director that every studio on planet Earth wanted to attach to one of their incoming projects, Taika Waititi has become arguably the busiest director in Hollywood.
But with that level of demand was always going to come the reality of some projects ultimately getting a little lost in the shuffle, and it appears as though a few incoming Taika tales may just find themselves in a bit of troublesome spot on the back of the director being wrapped up in his work on the likes of Thor: Love and Thunder, Next Goal Wins, Our Flag Means Death and countless other projects in pre-production.
Yet, of the many titles Waititi is currently attached to, it's perhaps the long-awaited live-action Akira big-screen adaptation that looks most in danger of once again being dragged back into development hell.
Despite claiming last year that "I’m still trying [to make it]. I don’t wanna give up on that", news of the film once again being delayed by Warner Bros. in December 2019, this time indefinitely, feels like another unfortunate sign that this particular concept looks to be once again doomed to remain on the shelf for the foreseeable.
