3. Carrie (2013)
Carrie is famed for one of the most iconic scenes in horror movie history, you know the one. The movie also has the privilege of being the first-ever adaptation of a Stephen King story, and wow did they do a good job.
In fact, it was such a good job, that Hollywood resisted a reboot for nearly 40 years. Sadly, they caved around 2013 and ended up making one of the worst remakes to date.
Despite the talented cast, Chloë Grace Moretz and Julianne Moore, the movie just didn't have the same magic as the original and was instead rather comical. As you know, a horror film should not be comical. Unless it is Scream of course.
Overall, the Carrie remake is an unnecessary piece of film that was not only insulting but also incredibly boring.
