5. Toy Story
The film that gave Pixar its first major hit, and still the best film they ever made. Toy Story 2 and 3 are equally as magical, but I had to go with the first in the series for my list. I can still remember being a kid and being completely enthralled by watching Toy Story over and over again, but unlike most movies I watched as a kid, Toy Story has never gotten old or dated to me. It retains every bit of wonder it did when it first came out, and the premise is still one of the greatest ever conjured up for a kid's story. It seems so simple now; the toys come to life when their owners are away and live their own lives. Toy Story uses such a simply genius idea to fashion a truly magical tale about love, loyalty and growing up that is sure to resonate with anyone watching it as a kid or adult.
