Whoever Waltz is playing, his character will apparently have a henchwoman named Irma Bunt (there's a lot of confusion about who has been cast in that role though). The twist? Well, she's a lesbian who has a serious thing for Madeleine Swann, a strange dynamic in a franchise that more often than not has 007 seducing the henchwomen trying to kill him. According to some reports, she's been toned down a lot in recent drafts of the script though, and there's now just one brief hint that Bunt's a lesbian when she watches Swann undress. Perhaps they decided that a lesbian henchwoman played that way was a little offensive in 2015, but it's hard to escape the feeling that they could have done something interesting with this.
