Before he was racking up Oscars for his biting social satire Parasite, Korean auteur Bong Joon-ho brought a more literal kind of class warfare to the screen with his English-language debut, an adaptation of the 1982 French graphic novel Le Transperceneige, about a revolt by the lower-class citizens aboard a train that carries the last remnants of humanity following a new ice age.
