9. The Hulk - Hulk
Ang Lee's Hulk was a stylsitically audacious take on the famed green rage-monster, and though it had a lot of positives, it was also stymied by a plodding pace and, most troublingly, an ill-fitting depiction of the central character. Though Eric Bana tries his best as Bruce Banner, once he transforms, it's all left to the bright sparks at Industrial Light & Magic to bring him to life. However, the end result more closely resembled an action figure than anything else; for starters, the character is just too green, causing him to fail to blend in with the real environments around him. Then there's the fact that the Hulk doesn't really look anything like Bana, a problem that also plagued 2008's The Incredible Hulk, until Joss Whedon finally decided to have Mark Ruffalo mo-cap the scenes for The Avengers. Oh, and there's the horrible key-framed animation not resembling real, physical movement in any way, and the purple shorts, too; what the Hell was up with that?
