3. The Darkness Documentary

Rockumentaries tend to work pretty well, with the stories of excess borne out of touring providing a base of entertainment that can then offer fans unprecedented insight into the inner workings and minds of their favourite bands. They also, invariably, prove how close This Is Spinal Tap was to real life.

The Darkness are the latest band to get the treatment - courtesy of a crowdfunded doc - which will tell the story of the band's implosion and triumphant return to performing. They're a great band and an interesting bunch (and the previous antics of frontman Justin Hawkins in particular warrant coverage, even if just to separate the truth from the myths), and there's definitely that Spinal Tap element to the footage shown.

And for added weirdness (though the band should cover that themselves very well), the talking heads who turn up will include WWE star Chris Jericho, who is a big fan, apparently.
