10 Movie Sequels We're DYING To See In 2023

1. Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse Part One

Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning
Sony

Release Date - June 2nd

Spider-Man's incorporation into the Marvel Cinematic Universe received so much buzz, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which came out around the same time, barely got any traction.

This was a pity since Spider-Verse was a cinematic triumph. Because of its glorious animation, snappy dialogue, and hilarious banter, it was quickly labelled as the best Spider-Man film ever, and among the greatest animated features of all time.

Even though it made a pittance compared to its live-action counterparts, it earned enough for the studio to greenlight the sequel, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

Because Into the Spider-Verse was so mind-bogglingly awesome, it feels like this sequel cannot live up to expectations. But so far, it seems likely the creators, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, are going to knock it out of the park once again.

Not only will the story explore six dimensions, the movie will contain a whopping 240 characters!! This includes beloved superheroes, classic supervillains like the Spot and Vulture, as well as variants of iconic characters.

With a thousands animators working on the project (which is the largest film crew of any animated feature), it's clear the filmmakers are going out of their way to make another showstopper.
