10 Movies From The 2000s Already Being Remade
7. Attack On Titan
When the 2015 live-action film adaptation of the beloved anime series Attack on Titan was released in two parts, the response from critics and fans alike was a resounding meh.
Some praised the film's originality, while Hollywood saw an opportunity to hone in on the series' popularity even more.
For the past couple of years, Warner Bros. has been working on a two-part remake of the Japanese live action films. It: Chapter One and Two director Andy Muschietti has been attached to direct both films since October 2018, with Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts producer David Heyman backing the project.
It is expected that the project will pick up speed once Muschietti's It: Chapter Two has seen its release. With the multitude of talent familiar with how to pull off big-budget fantasy epics behind it and Warner Bros. dedicated to working with the original manga's editor as the film is made, there is hope for this one to turn out great.
