8. Does Gal Gadot Have What It Takes To Lead A Movie? - Wonder Woman
Wonder Woman has proven itself to be an immensely difficult franchise to render on the big screen with any degree of success; there have been countless attempts, many of which ended up cancelled or stuck in development hell. Now, though, there's an actual, really happening, 100% confirmed Wonder Woman blockbuster movie on the way, with former model turned actress Gal Gadot set to take the lead. Talk about a lot of pressure, huh? Gadot has only appeared in minor roles across a bunch of movies at this point in her career, usually as characters defined by their beautiful looks (think Knight and Day, and in the Fast and Furious franchise). Though she certainly looks the part of Diane Prince going by the images and footage we've glimpsed so far, whether she will prove capable enough to carry the weight of a massive blockbuster on her shoulders is another matter entirely. Gadot is very charismatic and likeable, of course; here's hoping that her turn in Batman v Superman - small as it is likely to be - will calm any fears we have with regards to this.
