7. "You Look Like Two Seals Fighting Over A Grape" - Iron Man 2
Iron Man 2 isn't the Marvel Cinematic Universe's strongest film but regardless of your personal ranking, you can't deny it's still a good film. Iron Man 2 provided us with a plethora of positives including another first-rate performance from Robert Downey Jr, the introduction of Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow in the MCU and plenty more action.
Despite that, this questionable line from Rhodey managed to slip through the net. Amidst the action and chaos, Tony Stark and Pepper Potts share a brief romantic moment and a long awaited kiss. It's a sweet scene until Rhodey - who has been unknowingly lurking in the background - interrupts stating, "You look like two seals fighting over a grape." What?
This line really doesn't make any sense - there's nothing strange about Tony and Pepper's kiss. It's no secret that the MCU loves a good quip and you can see how Rhodey's interruption here could be funny but this line just wasn't the one. I wonder if Thanos could snap it out of existence.
