10 Performances That Could Save Upcoming Movies
2. Harrison Ford - The Secret Life Of Pets 2

It's tough to say that a new Secret Life of Pets movie was exactly desired by anyone except for audiences of a particularly-young age range. Add in a recast lead with Louis C.K being swiftly removed for obvious reasons and a storyline that isn't exactly breaking new ground, then you've got the full picture of this sequel.
However, if there's anything positive that came out of the latest trailer for SLoP2, it's the unveiling of Harrison Ford's Rooster and the confirmation that Ford is essentially playing himself (grumpy old man attitude and all). Whereas just about every character in the movie is bubbly and energetic, Rooster is just this bitter, irritated presence that looks like he'll serve as representation for the parents who are forced to go see this movie. He's the closest this movie will have to a straight man/dry humor-centric character and it's likely the only thing that'll give it a sense of balance.
Since Illumination Entertainment prides itself in their wackiness, a character who's not having anyone's BS and doesn't rely on the typical 'falls over/does a silly thing' comedic style.
