10 Reasons Suicide Squad Sucked More Than Batman V Superman

To its credit, Suicide Squad is a very good looking film for the most part, and continues DC's tradition of producing movies that are far more visually compelling than what the Marvel Cinematic Universe serves up.

That said, it's still left thoroughly in the dust by BvS' dream team of Zack Snyder and cinematographer Larry Fong, who make almost every shot of that movie gorgeous and painterly.

Then there's the CGI: both movies use it a lot, but Suicide Squad's extensive use of effects for Enchantress and Incubus rarely makes the film look like its $175 million budget. BvS isn't perfect in this regard either (Doomsday is a visual effects monstrosity), but on the whole its effects are certainly stronger (as you'd expect from a movie costing $75 million more).
