10 Reasons Why Legacy Characters Are The Future Of The MCU

1. New Costumes!

Come on, let's not forget the best part - it's all those awesome new uniforms. Don't act like you didn't fall in love with Falcon's Cap costume, or the sleek black elements of Bucky's take on the same. Seeing those on screen would be delightful for a fanbase that always gets a kick out of new threads on their favourite heroes - especially redesigns on iconic costumes. Sure, half the time there'll be bitching and moaning, but still. There are also new opportunities to play against what's been previously established on film; the female Thor could actually finally bring that glorious winged-helmet into play, in more than just a ceremonial fashion (as glimpsed at the beginning of Thor). For her, it definitely plays more of a tactical/protective role - and also handily helped to obscure her identity so that Marvel could milk that mystery for a few months - and if some day Kevin Feige decides to bequeath the Thor mantle to Natalie Portman, then the helmet should be part and parcel of that arrangement. Sidebar: If Natalie Portman doesn't want to do it, Kat Dennings is also a mainstay of Thor's MCU adventures...
