In The New 52 continuity, Clark Kent and Lois Lane never got married. In fact, they never even dated. As a result, Superman was a single man, but fans still didn't quite know how to respond when an issue of the Justice League featured the Man of Steel locking lips with Wonder Woman. It was an iconic piece of imagery, and one which caused some controversy. That kiss led to them embarking on a relationship, and the duo now star in their own series. Though it appears as if the relationship between Clark and Lois is going to be the focus in the DC Cinematic Universe, it would still be quite something to see this moment recreated in Justice League, especially if it were to lead to a Superman/Wonder Woman movie. An even bigger advantage is the new storytelling possibilities this opens up. Both Batman and the government are shown to be concerned about the possible ramifications of the two heroes being together; what if they decide to use their powers together to take over the world?
