10 Recent DC Comics Moments That Need To Be In The Upcoming Movies

3. Green Lantern/Sinestro Team-Up

Geoff Johns' stellar Green Lantern run continued into The New 52, and kicked off with the leader of the Sinestro Corps once again a member of the Green Lantern Corps. Hal Jordan meanwhile was stranded back on Earth without his ring, but when his foe needed help, he created one he could control for Hal and the two ended up working together. It was basically a buddy cop movie where the two leads hate each other, and this sort of approach to 2020's Green Lantern would be ideal. It's something the critically panned 2011 movie (which saw Mark Strong play Sinestro) failed to capitalise on, and exploring their relationship - regardless of where it is in their history - is essential in this DCCU. It's been rumoured that Green Lantern won't be introduced until the end of the first Justice League movie, and there's still no word on which of the human Green Lanterns it will end up being. If it isn't Hal Jordan, Warner Bros. are making a huge mistake, because he's the best possible choice for Sinestro to play off in a movie where the two are paired up.
