10 Scenes That Could Have Been Cut From Zack Snyder's Justice League

6. Martian Manhunter

Justice League
Warner Bros.

Martian Manhunter is one of the most beloved DC superheroes. He was a founding member of the Justice League so it makes sense for the green-skinned alien to appear in this film.

But Zack Snyder failed to implement him properly. In one scene, we see Superman's adoptive mother, Martha Kent, speaking to Lois Lane. When Martha leaves the room, she takes on her true form, revealing that she is the the Choco-loving Martian Manhunter.

First off, disguising himself as Martha to speak to Lois doesn't have anything to do with the story. Even if you're a massive fan of the character, viewers were left scratching their heads at his pointless cameo.

If you were unfamiliar with the superhero, it's hard to imagine what questions you must have had upon seeing Superman's mum metamorphosise into an extra-terrestrial. "What does that mean?" Who's that? Is he good? Is he bad? Was Martha always an alien? WHAT?!'

It was great to see J’onn J'onzz make his debut in a live-action movie but Snyder should not have inserted him when there was so much already going on.
