10 Star Wars Characters Who Only Had One Movie To Shine
8. Wicket - Return Of The Jedi
The Ewoks are often derided for being able to beat the Imperial forces in Return of the Jedi (which again showed how useless Stormtroopers are), but I have a soft spot in my heart for those miniature teddy bears, especially Wicket. If that name isnt ringing a bell, Wicket is the first Ewok we see in the film who finds Leia after she fell off her speeder bike. At first he was a leery of the giant, pale flesh creature that appeared out of nowhere, but after a little coaxing and offering of food from the Princess, he was willing to make a new friend. Ewoks are pleasant once you get to know them. Wicket was quite helpful during several parts of the film. First, he helped Leia evade capture by two Imperial troopers and lead her back to the Ewok village. The next day, he showed Han, Leia and Chewie a secret path to the shield generator bunker. When the Imperials caught the Rebel strike-force trying to sabotage the bunker, Wicket was the one who alerted the other Ewoks to prepare for battle. He served bravely during the battle itself, although as seen in one scene, hes not too good with a bola. He may not be the most important Star Wars character, but I would like to think he played an important role in defeating the Empire.
