5. Force Priestesses
Although not much is known about them, the Force Priestesses may have been the most powerful force entities in the galaxy. Which effectively would make them the most powerful beings in the galaxy.
The Priestesses existed in a place called the Well Spring of Life. This place was said to be the origin of midichlorians. The Priestesses represented the connection between the Living Force and the Cosmic Force.
The Living Force was the half of the Force that living beings like the Jedi and the Sith could tap into. The Cosmic Force bound everything in the Universe together. By bridging these two aspects of the Force, the five Priestesses had untold power in the Universe.
These were the beings who taught both Qui-Gon Jinn and Yoda how to become Force Spirits after death. Even Force users as powerful as Palpatine and Yoda would have no real chance against one of these ladies.
But, the Priestesses were uninterested in galactic conflicts. Their ultimate goal was to record the story of the galaxy.
