Last Film Entry: Hellraiser (2022)

What's Going On? Having impressed with 2022's reboot, the Hellraiser franchise is a little in limbo right now.

Director David Bruckner's Jamie Clayton-fronted Hellraiser stands as one of the best entries in the entire series, and Brucker himself has stated his interest in following up that 2022 movie with a sequel. However, that's about as far as things go right now.

Before it was even announced that Bruckner was helming that reboot, it was confirmed that Godzilla: King of the Monsters' Michael Dougherty and Falling Skies' Mark Verheiden were penning a Hellraiser TV show for Hulu. That was back in 2020, and there has been pretty much radio silence on the series in the time since; many presuming that the show is now completely dead in the water.

So, the director of the Hellraiser reboot is keen on a sequel, and the Hellraiser TV show hasn't officially been scrapped. But yeah, that's all that's known about the future - or possible future - of the property as of now.
