When talking about the physical prowess of both Steve Rogers and Bucky, it's impossible to leave out T'Challa. You only have to see him matching Cap pace for pace when charging down Thanos' outriders to know that he is blessed with abilities above the ordinary.

Even before T'Challa became King of Wakanda, he was an incredibly skilled fighter. The master of the martial arts was able to go one on one with Bucky, and more than held his own in the airport battle in Germany surrounded by all manner of super powered beings.

Not only was he powerful on his own, as the Black Panther T'Challa was able to use the wonders of Wakandan technology to his advantage. The claws, the vibranium suit, and the power to store and redistribute kinetic energy made him almost unstoppable.

Even without the gadgets or the effects of the Heart-Shaped Herb, stripped of the powers of the Black Panther, T'Challa was still able to defeat M'Baku in single combat, despite the considerable size disadvantage. The character was a seasoned, feared warrior, and certainly would not have been out of place as one of the Avengers.
