8. Pencil - The Dark Knight
The final installment to Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises, might have disappointed many fans, but it was certainly fighting an up-hill battle after the incredible performance from Heath Ledger as the Joker in The Dark Knight. Ledger's exceptional performance really brought out the raw, unadulterated psychopathic nature of the character, and his charismatic turn was evident in one of his earlier scenes in which he conducts a meeting with Gotham's criminal fraternity. To show off his unhinged personality to full effect he demonstrates his pencil trick - after placing it on a table he slams down a goon's head straight onto it, smashing it into his face.
