10 Supernatural Heroes We Can’t Wait To See In The MCU

7. Clea

Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider
Marvel Comics

Speaking of significant Doctor Strange-adjacent characters, next up is Clea. Clea is a character fans have expected for a while now. Many fans expected her to appear in the first Doctor Strange film, and when she didn't speculation only escalated. Some thought that Dottie from WandaVision was Clea, while others are postulating that Multiverse of Madness could introduce her, either as a new character played by Charlize Theron or a variant of Christine Palmer.

Whatever the case, it seems likely - given just how instrumental she is to his mythology - that we'll see her before Doctor Strange's time in the MCU is expired. The niece of Dormammu, Clea has been the on-again-off-again ruler of the Dark Dimension, Strange's wife, and the Sorcerer Supreme after her husband bequeaths the title to her. She was an early member of the Defenders (the Strange version, not the Netflix version); in fact, after the founders - Strange, Hulk, and Namor - she was the first to join the team.

That's not to say the Defenders will be a thing going forward (though that's not to say they won't be), but Clea's recurring membership on the team - plus her deep connection to Strange - practically make her a shoo-in for future MCU projects.
