10 Terrible Looking 2019 Movies That Will Shockingly Make A Profit

9. The Hustle

The Hustle Rebel Wilson Anne Hathaway
United Artists

Release Date: May 10

This gender-flipped remake of the classic 1988 comedy Dirty Rotten Scoundrels switches out Michael Caine and Steve Martin for Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson respectively and looks, uh, pretty terrible.

Though there are far worse movies to give the gender-swapped treatment, the first trailer looks about as generic and lazy as studio comedies come, firing ultra-broad and rousing not a single solitary laugh.

Despite the obvious talents of Hathaway and Wilson, this thing looks look a flat-line, and unlikely to be the spirited remake that Dirty Rotten Scoundrels was itself to the 1964 Marlon Brando/David Niven joint Bedtime Story.

But it clearly didn't cost much to put together, and both actresses have proven themselves solid box office draws in the past, so there's little reason to doubt this one pulling a modest profit.

Released the same day as Pokémon: Detective Pikachu, it should serve as decent counter-programming for the many women who don't much care about Pokémon.

Predicted Box Office: $140 million
