10 Things Fans Don't Want To Accept About Fox's X-Men Movies

3. The Deadpool Franchise Really Dropped The Ball On X-Force

Deadpool 2 wasn't a good movie. In fact, it was basically a retread of the first instalment, albeit with a couple of new characters and jokes that weren't as funny. However, while some fans are unwilling to accept that the sequel was even remotely flawed, by far its biggest crime was the handling of X-Force.

Using the team as a punchline, they were killed off one-by-one in an admittedly entertaining sequence that also wasted some great characters from the comic books. Honestly, this was one gag too far, and as unexpected as it may have been, it was a low point in a follow-up that was a real disappointment. Honestly, it's not hard to see why original director Tim Miller parted ways over "creative differences."

Domino was fun to spend time with, but Josh Brolin's Cable was another let down, and the actor recently admitted the project felt more like a "business transaction" than anything else.

There's a huge amount of excitement for some sort of Deadpool 3 in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but Marvel Studios will need to rein Ryan Reynolds in and limit his creative freedom.
