10 Things To Expect From Star Wars Celebration Orlando

Although most people are familiar with Star Wars through movies and toys, a great deal of the franchise’s popularity can be attributed to its vast library of comic book and literary tie-ins. While much of this material has been resigned to the murky realm of the ‘Legends Canon’, Lucasfilm has pressed forward with a new, revised series of spin-off stories.

We can expect to see some announcements regarding future Star Wars publications, and it’ll be particularly interesting to see where these might take place.

After staying fairly close to the original trilogy and/or The Force Awakens, it’d be good to see writers straying away from the familiar, and trying to create new stories and characters within more exciting, exotic Star Wars eras and locations. With all currently announced comics and novels focusing on events surrounding the movies, we may well see some new series and standalone books unveiled in April.
