10 Things You Didn't Know About Cyclops

2. He Actually Survived Last Stand

Filming for X-men: Last Stand was thrown into chaos when James Marsden, who portrayed Cyclops in the firs three X-men films, left in order to work on the upcoming Superman movie. As a result, his character had to be written out of the script early, and had a much smaller role than originally intended. However, director Brett Ratner chose not to show Cyclops's corpse so that he could potentially return in a later movie. Although everyone assumed that he was dead, the fact that there was no body meant that he could have survived in some form. While Cyclops did appear in the final scene of Days of Future Past, this was because the original timeline of the film universe had been altered, and the original character's fate remains unknown.

With a (nearly) useless degree in English literature and a personal trainer qualification he's never used, Freddie spends his times writing things that he hopes will somehow pay the rent. He's also a former professional singer, and plays the saxophone and ukulele. He's not really used to talking about himself in the third person, and would like to stop now, thanks.
