Despite still only being 25 years of age, Dakota Johnson has actually already taken what was essentially a ten year-long break from her acting career. The 1999 comedy-drama "Crazy in Alabama" was her first movie role, in which Johnson and her half-sister - Stella Banderas - played the daughters of Melanie Griffiths' character. With Melanie Griffith being the real-life mother of both of them and the film having been directed by her then-stepfather, Antonio Banderas, it really was something of a family affair. However, it would then be 2009 when her next movie - 2010's The Social Network - started filming, as she had spent the previous ten years simply getting through high school and being something of a more "normal" young girl, as well as embarking on her aforementioned modelling career in the later years of that spell. Since then, however, she hasn't looked back with regards to her acting career and it now seems to be paying off for her.
