The main takeaway from the filming of Top Gun: Maverick is that Cruise is one of the most dedicated actors and directors in the film industry. From his lengthy training programs for each of the cast members to how he took time to help each actor personally, there is no better teacher than Tom Cruise.
Jennifer Connelly was apparently terrified of flying when she auditioned for the film. Originally she was not supposed to fly in the movie but Jennifer soon learnt that she would be up in the air in an actual F-18.
