Dedicated hardcore fans of the movies have scoured each and every second of the trilogy to find and decipher any clues to what could occur within the franchise's future. Along with the production companies' hidden details and purposefully set up websites to help these fans, watchers were quick to notice more.

When the first movie hit cinemas in 2008, movie goers were not expected to wait to the final moments of the end credits, as they have become accustomed to do with the latest superhero releases nowadays.

For those who did stay until the very end, an audio clip was played, sounding like someone speaking or breathing. Even when slowed down, nobody could decipher what the person was saying, until it was played backwards.

Creepily, the voice then played loud and clear, stating "It's Still Alive.". The conclusions were quickly made to the monster, and that even after the explosives dropped on New York to kill it and the characters at the end of the film, they were unsuccessful and the creature still lived.

Many were convinced that this voice was Abrams hinting at the next film -however, he has since confirmed that the monster was destroyed.
