There have been worse Bond flicks than this 1974 Moore era outing, but there hasn't ever been one quite this lazy. While the central premise of an assassin seemingly placing a $1 Million bounty on 007's head is interesting and plays out in an engaging manner, the lack of effort in aspects of the script and direction are staggering.

The primary example of this is when Bond is knocked out and about to be killed by Dwarf henchman Nick Nack. However, rather than being immediately dispatched, Bond is taken by secondary villain Hai Fat to a karate school! What exactly was meant to happen here is puzzling to say the least, but if it was to be executed then it has to go down as the silliest way to kill off a character in film history. To noones surprise Bond makes a very easy escape, before he literally runs out of the complex.

The film is littered with other nonsensical decisions such as Bond's allies driving off on him when he is just several metres away from the car, but the decision to give him a martial arts lesson rather than taking him out takes the cake.
