6. Cap & Bucky Vs. Iron Man - Captain America: Civil War

This might be an unpopular opinion, but Civil War's final two-on-one fight as Cap and Bucky (Sebastian Stan) teamed up to battle Iron Man was actually more wholly gratifying than the much-loved airport battle.

As fun as the airport fight was, it lacked the life-or-death intensity of the finale because the heroes were all patently holding back and pulling their punches.

That wasn't the case at the end, though, when an enraged Iron Man is literally trying to kill Bucky after learning that he, while brainwashed, was responsible for his parents' murder.

The emotional stakes are incredibly high, and unlike the airport battle, there's the genuine anxiety that at least one of the three is going to end up dead.

That doesn't happen, but the gruelling slugfest still delivers fully on the expectations of the film's title, even recreating the iconic comic book panel where Iron Man fires his repulsors at Cap's shield.

It's an ugly, clumsy fight that's all the more entertaining because it's set in a simple, unremarkable location that doesn't detract from the drama and struggle.
