10 Upcoming Comic Book Movies No One Needs Or Wants

10. Spider-Man

On the one hand, a Spider-Man movie produced by Marvel Studios should be pretty much the best news ever. It is in some ways, but Sony Pictures (who royally screwed up the franchise with their not so "Amazing" reboot) are still involved, and Marvel simply do not have full creative control over this iconic character. He's effectively just on loan to them. If Sony are smart, they'll let Kevin Feige take the reigns and create something great. However, until fans actually get to see just how much of an influence he will have on Spider-Man's solo adventures away from The Avengers franchise, there's a lot of cause for concern. Then there's the fact that this reboot is taking Peter Parker back to high school. Is that a story anyone is desperate for? It makes sense that he would be a teenager in the Marvel Cinematic Universe of course, but spending three to four movies treading over what is essentially old ground means that this is one movie not half as exciting as it should be.
