3. The Flash
Other than Wonder Woman, The Flash was for years the movie which DC fans were most desperate to see get made. However, that all changed when the TV show came along and cemented itself as one of the best small screen adaptations of all-time with just a single season. All of a sudden, the prospect of another Flash running around isn't so exciting. The fact that Warner Bros. has cast Ezra Miller hasn't helped. He may be a superb actor, but he's also a million miles away from what most imagine when they think of Barry Allen. In fairness though, Grant Gustin got a pretty similar response from fans when he was cast. They could make this Flash Wally West, but that doesn't work so well without Barry having already existed in this world. The Flash TV series is doing everything so well, it's impossible to imagine how a big screen version will improve on it in any other way than slightly better special effects and production values. The odds are just stacked against this one.
