5. The Snowman - Val Kilmer

It's really about time Val Kilmer got a second career revival. Since Kiss Kiss Bang Bang over a decade ago, he's done some interesting work, but for the most part he's known as a slightly tragi-comic figure (almost in the vein of a Gary Busey) who tweets about not wanting to be left behind by the Top Gun sequel.

But he's also a lot more than that. He's still a very gifted actor, and hopefully his role in The Snowman, opposite Michael Fassbender (no matter how small a role it is) might help convince some people that he deserves more than being forgotten.

His role is unknown at the moment (though he's listed on his own IMDB as playing a very interesting part), and the opportunity to work with Tomas Alfredson should hopefully mean he leaves an impact. And then he can start getting some more meaningful work again.
