You've likely stumbled upon the fact that a rather famous Hollywood pebble is on the verge of changing up the DCEU's "Hierarchy of Power" in the upcoming Black Adam picture.

But perhaps the most notable aspect of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's relentless promoting of his long-awaited donning of the anti-hero suit has been the former WWE star's consistent teases of a mouth-watering showdown with none other than The Man of Steel himself, Superman.

Yet, despite Rocky being all to happy to muse over who would win in a fight between his Black Adam and the DC icon in countless interviews and Johnson also coyly classing Henry Cavill's Supes as "phenomenal" when nudged on the matter at Comic-Con, the fact director Jaume Collet-Serra was quick to state to Deadline that “by the time the movie ends, he doesn’t know who Shazam or Superman is" seems to point to this live-action fantasy showdown actually remaining just that.

And even if DC does find a way to dust of Supes' cape from a quick nod, it's far more likely fans will be treated to a limp, faceless Shazam!-esque outing rather than Teth-Adam knocking the stuffing out of Kal-El.

So whatever way you slice, you do get the feeling Rocky may have ultimately set himself and the DCEU's biggest anti-hero up for an almighty fall next month.
