3. Rambo: Last Blood (2016)

Wasn't Rambo supposed to be the last ever Rambo movie? Apparently not, given that Rambo: Last Blood is apparently in the works for a 2016 release, to be written and directed by none other than Sylvester Stallone. "Last Blood." Get it? Because this will be the last movie in the franchise, and the original movie was called "First Blood." It's very clever. Anyway, we don't have much information, but we know it's in development. This news doesn't come as much of a surprise, although we're pretty sure that the Rambo movie from 2008 was sort of marketed on the fact that it would provide us with the necessary closure we were all clamouring for concerning this iconic character. Rambo was pretty good action schlock, but is anyone really bothered about returning to this franchise? It kind of feels done with. And yet this probably won't even be the last flick.
