10 Weirdest Cameos In James Bond Movies

4. Minnie Driver - Goldeneye

Minnie Driver, the incredibly successful multi-talented English/American actress, singer and songwriter, has had a grand career since the early 1990s starring in such films as Good Will Hunting, The Phantom Of The Opera, The Governess, Take, and 2014’s Stage Fright. That’s not all, however, as her TV credentials include roles in Casualty, Modern Family, Will & Grace, Lovejoy, The X-Files and many more.

However, way before any of that, she had a bit part in 1995’s Goldeneye as Irina, Valentin Zukovsky’s mistress. During the scene where James Bond meets Valentin Zukovsky for the first time, Driver, in a red sparkly cowgirl outfit, performs a purposely terrible rendition of Tammy Wynette’s Stand By Your Man in a thick, fake Russian accent, prompting Bond to quip “Who’s strangling the cat?”.

Although she only had one minute of screen time, Minnie Driver’s role in Goldeneye was unfortunately uncredited, but it didn’t stop her from going on to do more under the limelight, including releasing three solo albums in the 2000s where she shows off how well she can actually sing.
