10 Worst Ever MCU Post-Credit Scenes
1. An Ant Playing The Drums - Ant-Man & The Wasp
Following on from Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man & the Wasp had a huge task in front of it. The movie largely underwhelmed, however it did boast one of the best, most harrowing mid-credit scenes of all time. The post-credit scene however, not so much.
After the bombshell of Hope, Hank, and Janet being dusted and leaving Scott lost in the Quantum Realm, it should have been expected that a funny post-credit scene was coming. Particularly after a comedy movie such as this one. That still didn’t stop audiences from being underwhelmed.
Throughout the movie, to keep up the illusion that Scott Lang was still in his house, Hank Pym tagged his house arrest anklet onto one of his giant ants. This ant mimicked Scott’s typical movements, including taking a bath, and sitting on the couch eating cereal.
This was a joke that had already been made in the movie, so the similar joke of seeing the ant play the electric drums in Scott’s house was completely unnecessary. It added nothing, and wasn’t really deserving of a last laugh either.
