9. Cancelling The Inhumans Movie

Who knows just how far in advance Marvel Studios has the MCU planned? While there is a master plan, with movies and shows being announced years in advance, there will always be tweaks and changes. When Phase Three was first announced, the was no Spider-Man, no Ant Man and the Wasp, and an Inhumans movie scheduled for November 2018.

As one of four new properties being released as part of the phase, along with Doctor Strange, Black Panther, and Captain Marvel, there was a lot of excitement and intrigue surrounding Black Bolt and the Inhumans, and how the MCU would be furthering its reach into the cosmic corners of the Marvel mythos.

Though not the royal family the movie would be based on, the alien race soon after made their debut in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, and Vin Diesel was reportedly attached to star as Black Bolt himself.

After being pushed back several times however, the movie was eventually cancelled altogether. What we had to make do with was possibly the MCU's worst ever outing, the Inhumans show on ABC, cancelled after just one season.

Instead of an incredible movie delving into the depths of the Inhuman lore and beyond, potentially bringing more powerful beings into the fight against Thanos, Marvel gave the world a show worth just 11% on the Tomatometer (and possibly the worst CGI hair in the history of television).
