10 Worst MCU Villains Of 2021

5. Lizard (Spider-Man: Far From Home)

Of the five Spidey villains Marvel Studios utilized for No Way Home, Dr. Curt Conners was arguably the one that fans were least excited to see. He didn’t exactly earn himself an army of loyal fans with his initial appearance in The Amazing Spider-Man, particularly when compared to the other antagonists along side him.

His motivation back then essentially boiled down to turning the people of New York into giant lizards like himself just because, and when he jumped across to the MCU, his character was given absolutely no more development or depth than that.

His inclusion in the movie almost felt like an afterthought along with the Sandman, but at least Flint Marko had some kind of story, even if his motivations were questionable. Fans didn’t even get to see how Connors was captured by Doctor Strange in the first place.

With Norman Osborn, Doc Ock, Sandman and Electro already in play, and absolutely no one wanting to see Topher Grace’s Venom or either iteration of Harry Osborn again, Marvel were almost stuck with Lizard without being able to find any kind of meaningful role for him.
