10 Worst Performances In MCU History (So Far)

8. Finn Jones - Iron Fist

Dreykov MCU
Netflix

At a time when Netflix's MCU contributions have never felt more intrinsic to the overall tale being told both on the MCU big and small screens, it's important to remember that not everything that burst onto the famous streaming service under the Marvel Studios moniker was a bona fide hit.

In the case of Finn Jones' attempts to forge his own path as an integral part of Marvel's TV universe, the actor didn't get off to the best of starts when fans instantly rejected his casting, claiming that Marvel should've brought an Asian performer in for the role of this character who was influenced so heavily by Asian culture instead.

Not bringing much else to the part of Danny Rand other than a largely irritating rich kid energy, the character felt like a real missed opportunity to add more diversity to the MCU several years before the likes of Black Panther and Shang Chi set the superhero world on fire. All in all, it was difficult to get behind Jones' annoying portrayal from the get-go and his clueless, uninspiring turn pretty much summed up the overall attitude towards the Iron Fist series as a whole.
