12 Critical Responses To 2017 Films That Make No Sense

5. Justice League

Thor Ragnarok Wampa
Warner Bros.

The Film:

The long-awaited team-up of the Justice League, everything in the much discussed and much maligned DCEU has been leading up to this.

The Response:

Reviews were mixed to negative overall. Audiences have been more positive.

Why They Got It Wrong:

Justice League is a fun, pleasingly simple blockbuster where the troubled production didn't show (mostly) and it's full of great characters played with skill by its terrific cast.

Factoring in the little emotional moments, the restrained jokes and the overall good action and you have yourself an overall satisfying cinematic experience. After this year's... well, let's face it, brilliant Wonder Woman movie, this is the second best DCEU film.

It's far from a perfect movie, but the reviews seemed to be reviewing the production troubles and the DCEU as a whole without bothering to consider this film's many positives. Considering how much praise certain other blockbusters got, this movie's critical ratings just don't fit.
