12 Great Moments In Mediocre Comic Book Movies

7. The Bullet Train Fight In The Wolverine

For 17 years, Hugh Jackman portrayed Wolverine and cemented his legacy as one of the most iconic characters in all of comic book movie history. Despite this however, he did have to put up with being in some pretty poor movies before finally being able to make Logan.

The second solo movie for the character, aptly titled 'The Wolverine', saw the titular character travel to Japan to battle the Yakuza without the help of his usual healing abilities. There are certainly worse films out there, but it didn't exactly set the world on fire.

One scene however, did make you re-evaluate the movie, if only for a few minutes. While on a bullet train, Logan is confronted by a handful of Yakuza gangsters, and proceeds to tear them to pieces. Of course it's not long before the action takes them to the roof of the train, where the fight becomes greatly entertaining and unique.

Using the force of the train, Wolverine and his adversary fly all over the place, and with the mutant's healing factor gone, there is genuine tension before he uses his brains to defeat his enemy, rather than his claws.
