12 LGBTQ Comic Book Characters Ready For Live-Action Adaptation

4. Daken

Ultimate Spider-Woman
Marvel Comics

Also known as Akihiro, Daken is the son of Marvel’s Wolverine. Unlike his father, Daken leans closer to the darker side and has been a member of multiple teams of supervillains, this means that he could literally play for either team when it comes to the stories in Fox's X-Men movies.

Thanks to his control over his pheromones, he uses this ability to influence various people for his own personal gain. With this power, he could be used in an X-Men movie in the same way as Mystique's manipulation or Wolverine's violence has been.

Daken is whatever he needs to be for whatever the situation calls for. Wolverine is the easily the most popular mutant in the movies. So just picture a younger sexy evil version of him on the big screen using seduction and violence to defeat the good guys.

Casting Options

Whoever plays this role would have quite an acting challenge on their hands. I do feel like a non-fully american ethnicity would be important to a role like this, as well. Steven Yeun from The Walking Dead or Osric Chau from Supernatural to bulk up and take on the role of Wolverine's son?
