11. Angela (Seven Psychopaths)

Look! She's right there! In the poster... For Seven Psychopaths. Granted Olga Kurylenko's plonked on the end but you could be forgiven for thinking she lasts longer than a three minute scene! Martin McDonagh's darkly comic second outing as writer-director follows a struggling screenwriter (Colin Farrell) taking on Hollywood with the guidance of his laid back, slightly erratic, dog-napping buddy (Sam Rockwell - Hollywood's most underrated actor). Its Rockwell's character that proves to be more unhinged than we give him credit for, as he puts a bullet in the ex-Bond Girl he's happened to hook up with. McDonagh's self-admitted flaw (and on-screen joke) - that he cannot write female characters, is taken to the extreme, as he chooses to kill Kurylenko off instead of giving her more than three lines. Still, it made me sit up and think holy sh*t! Note - He REALLY can't write female characters. Of the two other women featured, one's a serial killer of serial killers and the other is told she is a c**t in the opening five minutes of the film. Smooth McDonagh, smooth.
